Michele Taylor joined the Conference in April 2004 and became the Associate Director for Communications in January 2007. She leads the communications team and develops strategies to build a strong communications presence in order to advance the Conference's goals and objectives. She prepares legislative reports and summaries and other Conference publications. She facilitates communications between members of the media and Conference staff and at times is called to speak on behalf of the Conference to the Catholic faithful and general public. Through management of the Florida Catholic Advocacy Network and coordination of Catholic Days at the Capitol, she initiates and mobilizes grassroots support for issues and ideas of importance to the Conference and provides opportunities for Catholics in Florida to carry out their responsibility to participate in political life. She is also responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the Conference's websites and social media accounts and production of the podcast, Catholics Across the Aisle.
